wow!!!really good photographs.I like to see all the picture of this wonderful nature created by god.Specially the first pic is awesome.
Thanks for sharing.
Hey Tarotworldtour. These photographs are taken from a few different places. The first one, the pine cones, the leaves from underneath, and the two little leaves, were all taken from various places in North Carolina within Pisgah National Forest. The mother and baby Gull and Gull island were taken on an island off the coast of Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska.
Thanks for visiting!

Ok Nate, I just checked out your new site via your email from your other blog and wow…..you are already Freshly Pressed!!!! Congrats! This is probably your first post on this blog too!!!!
Hey there Nicole! You have no idea how surprised I was when I woke up to all the emails! I think it was number two or three 😛
Thanks for keeping up with me and following me to here!

Hey Alli. That photograph was taken on an island off the coast of Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska. It’s a beautiful place!
Thanks for visiting,

I love the photo of the tree leaves viewing from below. That is one of my favorite things to do… it makes me feel my problems are so small and insignificant.
I got really lucky with that one. I had a tarp shelter built virtually underneath them, and when I poked my head out from under the tarp and looked up, that’s basically what I saw 😛
Thanks for visiting!

Thanks for your kind words Cairo. If there was one thing I hoped to accomplish with this gallery it was to help someone appreciate nature more! 😀 Thanks for visiting and leaving your thoughts,
– Nate
I agree rsmnik– very relaxing indeed. That photograph you like is an offshore island at Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your thoughts,

Clean lines and form. Your photographs remind me of the Swedish movie (cinematography) “Elvira Madigan” of the 1960s. Your photographs remind me of the 1960s.
Thank you very much pnwauthor! I hope that the fact that my photographs remind you of the 1960s is a compliment? haha.
Thanks for visiting and taking the time to comment.

Thanks, Angelene. I got luck on that one. I had a tarp shelter set up virtually right next to those leaves so when I rolled out of bed I looked up and that photograph was right there. I couldn’t resist 😛
Thanks for stopping by!

Great pictures! I didn’t notice the baby seagull at first and had never thought about the type of nesting grounds gulls would choose, gull island is quite interesting in that regards. Alaska would make sense for location of that. I don’t know what kind of weed those little daisies are but they sure are cute. Like you I also feel that they are more than a weed. 🙂 The various shots of the trees are wonderful as well. I could go on but I figure you get the fact that I love your pics and will be back. Thanks for sharing and congrats on being pressed.
Hi Being Julz,
Wow, thank you so much for your well-thought out and very kind response. You bring up a good point about the gull nesting grounds. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that anywhere but Alaska, although I’m sure not all seagulls come from Alaska haha. Thanks for your compliments on my photography. I look forward to checking out your blog and having you return back here again soon,
– Nate

Thank you very much! That photograph was, to my surprise, many people’s favorite. When I originally took it I thought it was just OK. Funny how that happens sometimes isn’t it?
